The Private Kitchen
I am English by birth, married to a beautiful lady from NJ. I was born in an old city called Bath, in the west of England. There’s no question in my mind that my love and passion for food comes from my amazing mother, Helen. An unusual mix of Greek-Cypriot and Polish-Jewish heritage, she was a phenomenal cook. Devastatingly, we lost my amazing mum to an aggressive cancer in 2017, but this was the spark I needed to re-evaluate my life. Following many successful, yet unfulfilling years in Sales- in both London and New York- I decided to use my savings to enroll in the Institute of Culinary Education and finally follow my dream and I have now spent 3 years as a personal chef and couldn’t be happier.
As you may have guessed from my logo, the humble carrot is my absolute go-to when it comes to cooking and eating. Not only is it incredibly healthy, but it is also extremely versatile when it comes to preparation, whether you are making carrot soup, carrot cake or a simple honey-roasted carrot, and I am often complimented on these dishes.
There is nothing more fulfilling than having put your time, effort and passion into the food and have others enjoy it, especially when it brings a family or group of friends for a great evening together. That, in essence, is what I hope to achieve with The Private Kitchen: to give you healthy, fresh meals, created specifically for you and delivered to your door and to bring ‘Our Food to Your Home’!
